Modelled from wood this model features articulated steering, rolling wheels
and
a boom that raises and lowers. I drew the plans based on photographs of the real
machine.
The brief specified that the finished model should should look like it was
constructed by a
home handyman/builder in his backyard using timber, nailed together and looking
a bit weathered.
The pieces were all sprayed with
stain before assembly and weathered once together.
The model features wooden upholstery, steering wheel, controls and exhaust
stack.
This is one model that took on its own personality and capturedmy
imagination,
I still want to make another version of it to keep for myself.
